I never imagined doing a shoot like this, but the experience pushed me to trust myself and feel at ease in my body. “This was my first ever Boudoir photos experience. I thought I would be more nervous than I was. It was nice to spend some time with Natalia to get my hair and make-up done and feel good about how I looked. She has amazing skills.
Sergey had already told me we'd spend some time on the white board to plan out the session, and that also set my mind at ease to know what would happen. As soon as I was toured through the multiple sets, it clicked with the online images I had reviewed; it's a really nice set up.
As we got going, I was less nervous and got comfortable. I liked the level of instruction that Sergey gave on how to hold myself, where to look, even how to breathe, to ensure the photo was as good as possible. He has amazing vision. I loved the extra costumes, shoes, and props he had available to spice up the shots.
When I had my first glance at the photos on his big screen, I honestly thought we were looking at someone else and he still needed to switch to my photos.
I can't believe how good Sergey made me look! The shoot and the photos have made me feel feminine and attractive, with zero judgement about liking kink. It was a really good experience for me; I felt safe, seen and heard.”

“It was hard to have expectations since I’ve never done anything like this. Since I’m so shy, I imagined it could be uncomfortable and maybe make me feel bad about myself. I felt like it might seem really long and stressful. However, it felt way more normal than I anticipated. The time flew by!
I was really blown away by all the sets and variety of photos and all the change kept things super engaging.
I think I feel a bit more comfortable now in my body and just impressed that I did something out of my comfort zone. I think it was also positive that while picking my package, we focused more on what I liked so I wasn’t left with much time to overanalyze things I don’t like about myself. It was a good opportunity to see myself from a different angle without dwelling on my imperfections. It’s also just exciting to see yourself within these beautiful sets because you feel part of a piece of art.
Since having an eating disorder and body dysmorphic disorder, I’ve often struggled to see myself in the mirror even. I was always the friend hiding her body changing in the girls room but since my shoot I’ve been embracing my body more and working on making peace with it.”

“I want to start off noting that I didn't apply for Sergey's usual shoots or had heard of him earlier. In fact, the reason that I got into a session was through an ad for a campaign he's currently doing (thanks Instagram), and that's how I got to know more of his works (as I did my own research after applying). I also want to say that what drew me into applying was the striking visual that was used for the campaign, and after seeing more of his works, I was captivated by them.
I was nervous and hesitant, but I took a leap of faith, and I know I would've really regretted it if I didn't do so, seeing what I have done and seen already. Working with him, I must say, was definitely a workout, but like any workout, the results were promising (and delivered with better efficiency!).
I do want to point out that when Sergey did ask me (day of the shoot) why am I here, I felt like I didn't belong or that I did question too, why am I here? But that's not because of his question; it is because of my own doubt and insecurity of, can I even do this? And as soon as I gave my honest answer, he walked me through the process on how he'll guide me to achieving the goal that I want from the shoot. And that was where I felt the fears lift off in me, and that I knew I could trust him in delivering what he said.
And Sergey has been nothing but professional and respectful through the entirety of the process. While it was a little awkward in the beginning, I soon grew more at ease along the way. There were still times that I felt conscious of my own body, but never did I feel vulnerable or uncomfortable due to him being there.
While the final edits are still being worked on, I also want to speak of the experience of seeing the unedited, raw photos he took just from the shoot and how breathtaking his work was. It honestly gave me a confidence boost and seeing how I can be different yet still the same, is surreal. I feel like I can be kinder to the flaws and all that I have, and this is because of him.
I could write more compliments but I don't want this post to come across as either a flowery passage or a paid promotion. I will say, however, that I will definitely go back to shoot with him again, knowing the next time I will be more at ease and perhaps add my own flair, as I have been very inspired by what he's captured of me this time.
Last but not least, to anyone who have read this and have been critical of themselves as I have been to myself, I hope this post serves as a little encouragement to try something new; and better yet, expose yourself in a session with Sergey, flaws and all, and appreciate yourself with all that you have, who you are, and who you can also be.
